I know it sounds cliche, but sometimes, the most amazing moments come from simple pleasures. David and I went to One if by Land, Two if by Sea last night (a terrific restaurant in New York City) and had one of the best meals of our lives. We've been several times before but we decided to have the tasting menu including the wine tasting with each course. It was an incredible dining experience. And while it was expensive, it was worth every penny because of the wonderful ambiance, remarkable service, exquisite cuisine and of course the company. I know that we all have different things that are important to us but for me, a great meal, some special wine and loving company is the best gift in the world.
